Episode Seven of The Twelve Shepherds came out today. I’d tell you more but we have to go see the wedding planner. If you should see me out in public today, and have any sympathy what-so-ever for your fellow man….hand me a drink. Maybe two. Or a whole bottle. Number eight next Sunday, if I survive today.
Some of you are jokingly…at least I think you’re joking…about the FBI coming to see me about the stuff I write. This conversation may or may not have actually happened. Knock-Knock. Me: “What!?” Unknown asshole at the door: “Mr. Wood? It’s the FBI.” Me: “Again? What do you want this time?” FBI: “It’s about your latest book?” Me: “What about it?” FBI: “We find some of the things you are saying to be similar to some people we’ve had a problem with in the past.”

In Closure we had Sam Shepherd, a military veteran who is driven by personal tragedy into conducting a violent campaign against the
Ways you can help an Indie Author Writing a book is hard enough, promoting it is a whole other matter. Big name authors can afford to hire a publicist, but indie authors have to get by with grass-roots connections, word-of-mouth, and a little luck to inform the world out there of their latest creation. So what can you do to help make your indie author succeed? Rate and Review Your Favorite Books Rating and Reviewing books gives other readers a sense of what the
Do you hear it? My wife does. My kids do. Even the dog. Its why none of them are around me right now. It’s not my keyboard, they’re use to that. Its…my mouse. If you ever wondered what an author does the day after he releases a book to the public? It’s this. Mouse clicking. Lots of it. We open every sales tab we can and spend the day clicking back and forth waiting to see if anybody took a chance on our book. Its
The Twelve Shepherds has gone to market.* If you signed up for my mailing list you should have the first episode in your mailbox. If not, please feel free to flog my assistant Bill until you do. (NOT these kind of Shepherds->) The blurb: Justice isn’t dead…yet. It’s been a year since Sam Shepherd embarked on a one-man mission to change the justice system, a mission that ended on live television in front of a stunned nation. His mission became a calling, a
Hello everyone, Just dropping in to dispel rumors of my death. I am indeed alive and keeping the Jack Randall series alive as well. Six months ago I blogged that I was behind. The funerals I mentioned are still ongoing and this month I will attend the last one scheduled. This would be my mother’s. She passed from a stroke a few months back and we held off on the funeral until all who wished to could attend. She was a great supporter of my
